Created to celebrate 50 years of dedication to the sport of darts, the Warrior Kapene represents Shot's journey from its beginnings in 1970 to its vision for the future. Designed for Shot's global tribe of players, this dart combines heritage, culture, and performance in a truly unique package.
Kapene translates as Captain – a leader who guides the tribe forward. Inspired by Shot's New Zealand roots and the warrior spirit found within every player, the Warrior Kapene honours both tradition and innovation. Renowned Tauranga carver Whare Thompson was commissioned to create the striking Ta Moko design that wraps around the barrel and is echoed in the flight artwork, celebrating Māori artistry and identity.
Built for Leadership and Control
Crafted from 90% tungsten, the Warrior Kapene features a straight barrel profile with a centre-weighted balance, making it versatile and confidence-inspiring for a wide range of throwing styles. A generous shark grip runs along the barrel, providing excellent traction and consistency.
Front and rear scallops create two distinct reference points, allowing players to choose between different grip positions while maintaining control and repeatability. The Black Titanium coating and laser-etched Ta Moko sleeve deliver both exceptional durability and a premium visual finish.
